Can I begin without a Qatar ID?

Overseas individual shareholders can use a valid passport. Under the published Single Window process, the application submitter needs a valid QID and Tawtheeq account, and the manager has a separate QID requirement. We assess the appropriate representative and management arrangements for your case.

What can happen before I travel?

We can discuss your business, assess the proposed setup and help prepare a document checklist. We explain where authorisations, signatures, attendance or further checks may be needed. We do not assume the whole process, including banking, can be completed remotely.

What if I already own a company?

A new Qatar company with an overseas corporate shareholder may be an appropriate route. Foreign-company branches have specific conditions, including the qualifying state-contract route; representative offices have restrictions on commercial activity. The right structure depends on your plans.

What should I prepare for our meeting?

Your proposed business activity, owners’ nationalities and countries of residence, your intended launch period and whether you plan to relocate. For expansion, bring an overview of your existing company. You do not need to upload identity documents just to book a meeting.

What happens with foreign documents?

Company records and authorisations issued abroad may need attestation and translation. We explain the case-specific checklist before you arrange those steps. Ownership, residency, banking and personal tax residence are separate questions.
